A note from our Chair Emeritus

Dear friend of the Rosary,

When our small group first walked the streets of a Northern California parish with the Rosary in our hands and a banner of Our Lady of the Rosary raised above us, we were seven people — a priest, three parishioners, a mother with her two children, and myself. It was a cold February morning, and we said the five Sorrowful Mysteries between the church door and the town square.

No press covered it. No bishop attended. And yet the procession changed us — because prayer offered in public, with intention, and in ordered devotion, changes the one who prays before it changes anything else.

Our Lady's Rosary Crusade grew from that morning. Over the years, we have offered materials, correspondence, and counsel to lay groups and parishes across the country who wish to organize their own Rosary Processions. We do not lead the processions ourselves — those are yours, rooted in your parish, your community, your intentions. We only try to make the organizing easier.

What we do, in plain terms

The Crusade is a small, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered in California. We operate on modest annual offerings from parishioners and small foundations. We publish no glossy magazines. We host no conferences. Our work is quiet and correspondence-based.

Practically, that means we:

• Answer letters and emails from those wishing to organize a Rosary Procession, offering practical guidance drawn from our accumulated experience.
• Maintain and share templates: procession leaflets, hymn selections, homiletic notes, and route-planning checklists.
• Keep a small register of processions held under the Crusade's guidance, so that intercessory prayer can be offered for all who walk with us.
• Provide, when asked, small material aid — printed banners, rosaries, and leaflets — to parishes and communities that would otherwise be unable to bear the cost.

What we do not do

We do not organize national or diocesan-scale events. We do not endorse political candidates or partisan causes. We do not solicit publicity. We do not raise general funds beyond the modest support required to keep the Crusade's correspondence going. When we receive donations, we account for them plainly in our annual Form 990 filings with the Internal Revenue Service, which are matters of public record.

We are reachable primarily by email at info@rosaryprocession.org. Correspondence is answered by a member of the Crusade, typically within a week. If you are planning a procession and would like our counsel, please write with as much detail as you can about your intention, your route, and your community.
